Conversations and Connections Mini-Conference Set for Arlington

One of the things the Mason creative writing program prides itself on is allowing students to enter a community of fellow writers through a variety of connections. One example is the Conversations and Connections mini-conference being held April 22 at Founders Hall on Mason’s Arlington campus.

Hosted by the local literary journal Barrelhouse, the conference brings together writers, editors, and publishers from across the region—in conversation and connecting with one another.

The program includes panel discussions on the craft and business of writing, readings by featured authors, a speed-dating session with editors, and a boxed wine happy hour—plus all attendees receive a free book and a subscription to a participating literary journal.
