Charles Jones

Associate Professor

Charles Jones received a Ph.D. in Linguistics in 1985 at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. Before coming to George Mason University, he taught linguistics at the University of Connecticut in Storrs and the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He has published articles on theoretical syntax in various linguistics journals and conference proceedings. His book, Purpose Clauses, was published in 1991.
