Research Interests:semantics, Georgian, Caucasian languagesDee Ann Holisky has been a faculty member at George Mason University since 1980. In addition to serving as an associate dean, she is an associate professor of linguistics and a past director of linguistics programs. Holisky's research specialty is languages of the Caucasus; she has published research on Georgian, Tsova-Tush, grammar for English as a second language (ESL) teachers, and vocabulary for ESL students. She earned a doctorate in linguistics from the University of Chicago.Email:
