Adjunct
Dr. Humbertson has been an adjunct professor at GMU since 1982. He teaches English 302 Advanced Composition courses in the evening program and during the summer sessions. His special interests in composition include writing through a reader’s perspective and helping students develop their “non-academic voice” for writing “in the marketplace.” He holds B.A and M.A degrees from the University of Maryland at College Park, a Ph.D. in English Education from George Mason, and is also a founding member of the Northern Virginia Writing Project (1978).Email:
