All-Alum Reading and Discussion: Post-MFA Work + Life

MFA in Creative Writing Alums Nicole Louise Reid, Graham Foust, and Yelizaveta Renfro, read from their work and discuss life after the MFA. Nicole Louise Reid is the author of the short story collection So There!, the novel In the Breeze of Passing Things, and two fiction chapbooks If You Must Know and Girls. Her stories have appeared in the Southern Review, Indiana Review, Meridian, Quarterly West, Other Voices, and elsewhere. She teaches creative writing at the University of Southern Indiana, and is the director of the RopeWalk Reading Series, and the editor and publisher of RopeWalk Press. Graham Foust is the author of the poetry collections As in Every Deafness, Necessary Stranger, Leave the Room to Itself, A Mouth In California, and most recently, To Anacreon in Heaven and Other Poems. With Samuel Frederick, he has translated Ernst Meister’s In Time’s Rift, and Wallless Space. He currently teaches at the University of Denver. Yelizaveta Renfro is the author of Xylotheque, her first collection of essays. She is also the author of the short story collection A Catalogue of Everything in the World. Her fiction and nonfiction have appeared in Glimmer Train Stories, Colorado Review, North American Review, Alaska Quarterly, South Dakota Review, Witness, Blue Mesa Review, Fourth River, and Untamed Ink, among others.
