Language Requirement: Students must demonstrate preparation through the intermediate level (coursework equivalent to George Mason'os Foreign Language 202 or 209, which may have been completed in undergraduate work, or proficiency as shown through a translation test administered by the English Department). Up to 12 credit hours of graduate credit earned prior to admission to a master's program may be eligible to be transferred into the program and applied to the degree.
