We encourage you to take advantage of the opportunities available to MA in English students. We don't have many funding options for students, but our department is large and diverse, making it an excellent place to find opportunity around every corner.
Teaching Assistantships and wages positions offer MA in English students the chance to tutor, teach, develop research with faculty scholars in the department, and study pedagogy with other TAs.
Internships offer MA in English students opportunities to work in their field for credit at Mason.
Student feature articles showcase students with diverse interests, academic goals, and career plans. These features bring faces to the community of scholars, writers, researchers, and students to which you belong.
Finally, graduate certificates allow students to pursue interests in professional and technical writing, English pedagogy, teaching English as a second language, and folklore studies while also earning an MA. Certificates can be added as secondary programs.
