Submitting Your Thesis Proposal

Submitting Your Thesis Proposal Image

Your proposal is written.  It's time to submit.  You want to submit your proposal by the end of the semester prior to the semester in which you plan to start work on your thesis.  So, for a fall start to thesis study, a proposal should have been submitted by the end of the previous spring semester.

Thesis Proposal Submission Checklist:

__ Submit your proposal and cover sheet (download here) to the student relations coordinator

__ Send the proposal to your thesis committee members via email and let them know that a hard copy of your proposal is available at the student relations coordinator's desk. In the email ask your committee members to send their approvals to the graduate programs manager.

The student relations coordinator will collect approvals from your committee members, the program director, and the chair of the English Department. When all approvals are in place, the student relations coordinator will send you an email with the CRN so you can register for your first three thesis hours.
