Social Entrepreneurship Comes to Mason

George Mason has been selected as one of four universities in the first year of the Ashoka Changemaker Campus program. (Others selected are Cornell, Johns Hopkins, and the University of Maryland.) The program brings students and faculty together with practitioners, thought leaders, and philanthropists to create new and effective partnerships for sustainable social change.

The George Mason faculty team, which includes English Department Assistant Professor Paul Rogers, is looking for a total of four students at the undergrad and graduate levels to join select faculty and staff in a one-year, pioneering initiative designed to deeply embed social entrepreneurship across campus, and to establish the standards that will enable other universities to follow our lead.
