We analyze formal elements of fiction films/videos, documentaries, and TV, and develop analytical writing skills, with an emphasis on collaboration. We consider the choices and processes of filmic storytelling, understanding film in multiple contexts, including production and distribution industries, political, cultural, and commercial systems. Equivalent to ENGH 373.
Specialized Designation: Writing Intensive in Major
Recommended Prerequisite: ENGH 302 or HNRS 360 or HNRS 361
