Explores word-level patterns of variation in language. Overview of current approaches to morphology, morphological variation in world languages, and the dominant descriptive and theoretical models of this variation. Connections to typology, psycholinguistics, and computational approaches are discussed. May not be repeated for credit.
Recommended Prerequisite: LING 520 or equivalent
Registration Restrictions:

Enrollment limited to students with a class of Advanced to Candidacy, Graduate, Junior Plus, Non-Degree or Senior Plus.

Students in a Non-Degree Undergraduate degree may not enroll.
