Literature: Novels of the American South, American short story; Creative Writing: Fiction, Non-fiction, Food and Wine journalism
Justin Petrisek graduated from George Mason with an MA in Literature, specializing in American 20th century fiction, particularly fiction of the American South. He also received an MA in Biblical Studies from the Augustine Institute before moving back to Virginia where he spent several years as a journalist. He then spent two years making wine at Rappahannock Cellars near Virginia's Shenandoah Valley. A regular writer of both fiction and food and wine journalism, he is currently working on a novel revolving around the recent closure of the Ringling Brothers & Barnum and Bailey Circus.
