Creative Writing

Stephanie is a third-year MFA candidate in Creative Writing with a concentration in fiction. In undergrad, she studied at Hollins University and obtained a B.A. in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and a minor in Communications and Film. When she was a sophomore in undergraduate, she studied abroad in London and had the opportunity to visit other countries while I was in Europe. Her favorite part of traveling was getting to learn more about different cultures. During her time abroad, she interned with a publishing company and gained experience in various positions such as editing, revising, and creating content for the company's website. As a writer and teaching assistant, she believes in the creative process and adhering to each student's individual goals. She strives to ensure that every student leaves the classroom feeling confident in their work. When she is not writing or teaching, she spends time with her cat fur baby, Fernando.
