Introduces editing as a textual and rhetorical practice. Addresses copyediting, stylistics, and design; revisions based on audience, purpose, and genre; multimedia editing; interactions between editors and authors. (Not a remedial course in fixing sentence errors.) May not be repeated for credit.
Recommended Prerequisite: Satisfaction of University requirements in 100-level English and in Mason Core literature.
