Keeping it local and in the family, while still experiencing different

During the fall semester of 2015, Jenkins had the opportunity to study in Akita, Japan, where she was able to put into practice and refine the Japanese skills acquired through her minor. She describes her experience as having been incredibly enriching and unlike anything else she had experienced before.
