When the Mason Inn was running, the English Department and Creative Writing program collaborated with Inn manager Marc Fournier to found the Well Library as a way to celebrate the research, scholarship and creative work of the people of Mason. Each month or so, various faculty, staff, and alums were inducted into the library with short readings and placement of copies of their books in the library bookcases.
Now, Fall for the Book is working to re-create the library and house it in the Mason Club. A kick-off reception is planned for Monday, Sept. 25, from 5:30 to 7:30 in the Mason Club. For the occasion, the club is open to all, with free snacks and a cash bar.
