BFA Alum Jordan Keller-Martinez Named Finalist for the 2020 Ruth Lilly and Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Poetry Fellowships

Congratulations to Jordan Keller-Martinez, BFA '18, who is a finalist for the the 2020 Ruth Lilly and Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Poetry Fellowships!

Five Ruth Lilly and Dorothy Sargent Rosenberg Poetry Fellowships are awarded annually to young poets through a national competition sponsored by the Poetry Foundation & Poetry Magazine. Established in 1989 by the Indianapolis philanthropist Ruth Lilly, the fellowships are intended to encourage the further study and writing of poetry.

Jordan Keller-Martinez has an MFA in Poetry from Washington University in St. Louis, where he now holds the Junior Fellowship in Poetry. Previously, he served in the Army as a Psychological Operations Specialist. He was the 2019 recipient of the Newman Exploration Travel Fund, which he used to travel to Kyrgyzstan this past December in order to research and write about the region. His poems are forthcoming in The Adroit Journal, Guesthouse, and elsewhere.
