English Professor Emeritus John Radner's new book, Johnson and Boswell: A Biography of Friendship, examains the close friendship of Samuel Johnson and James Boswell. Sifting through almost everything Johnson and Boswell wrote to each other, Radner explores how the pair spent their time together, challenged each other, confided in each other, and how that friendship defined themselves.
