On the Road with Del and Louise by Professor Art Taylor Nominated for a Macavity Award

On the Road with Del and Louise, A Novel in Stories by Art Taylor has been nominated for a Macavity Award for Best First Mystery Novel.

Per the Mystery Reader's International website, "The Macavity Award is named for the 'mystery cat' of T.S. Eliot (Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats). Each year the members of Mystery Readers International nominate and vote for their favorite mysteries in four categories."

The novel tells the story of Del, a small time crook, and Louise, who goes from holdup victim to Del's lover and accomplice. The novel is told through a series of stories.

Taylor's novel previously won an Agatha Award for best first novel.
