This course focuses on works of fiction and creative non-fiction that explore issues related to medicine; doctors, patients and families; and various health and mental health conditions and concerns. While suitable for anyone with interest in this subject, the course is designed with those majoring or interested in the following fields in mind: medical or pre-med fields, psychology, social work, sociology, political science or public policy, education or special education, and aging or disability studies.
