Assistant Professor of English and 2018-2019 Fenwick Fellow, Jacqueline Burek

The Office of the Dean of Libraries and University Librarian recently announced the 2018-2019 Fenwick Fellowship recipients, and Assistant Professor of English Jacqueline Burek was one of only two awardees.

Professor Burek, whose research focuses on medieval historiography, was selected for her proposal, Mending a Broken Chain: Continuous History and Literary Form in England and Wales, 1125-1450. The fellowship will provide Professor Burek a private office space in Fenwick library and $5,000 for research expenses.

Professor Burek will present the results of her research to the Mason community at the public Fenwick Fellow Lecture in Spring of 2020.
