Creative Writing
Lizzie is a third year GMU MFA candidate with a concentration in fiction writing. She is originally from North Carolina but considers the Midwest home, where she earned a BA in Creative Writing from Butler University in 2017. She says “Go Dawgs” more often than necessary.
After graduating with a BA in Creative Writing, Lizzie worked for a technical writing firm in Indianapolis, Indiana with Fortune 500 clients. She worked on a wide range of technical materials, from internal requirements documents to consumer manuals, before moving to the DMV in 2021 to join the GMU community. When she isn’t teaching or writing, she’s learning a new recipe.
