Emily Tuszynska holds a BS in Biology, a BA in English, and an MFA in Creative Writing (concentration in poetry) from George Mason University. Her poetry has appeared in many journals, most recently including Scientific American, Southern Poetry Review, and The Southern Review. She is the recipient of a Tennessee Williams Scholarship in poetry from the Sewanee Writer’s Conference and a Sustainable Arts Foundation Parent Residency from Mineral School as well as fellowships from the Vermont Studio Center and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts and a residency from the Eastern Frontier Educational Foundation.
