Joel G. Cox is a student in the English MA program at George Mason University and a Graduate Professional Assistant for Poetry Daily. His research focuses on postwar American literature, critical theory, and the ways institutions and technologies shape everyday life. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from San Diego State University. A fiction writer and product designer, he is also the creator of Volta, a writing and publishing platform.
