Dr. Ka Long Roy Chan is an adjunct faculty at George Mason University. He obtained his Ph.D. (Applied English Linguistics) in the Chinese University of Hong Kong and his M.A. (International Language Education) in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Dr. Chan published extensively in these areas, exploring various aspects of language learning, teaching methodologies, and the role of language in multicultural environments. With over ten years of experience teaching college writing, linguistics, and TESOL, Dr. Chan brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the classroom. His recent publications appeared in Teaching English Language Variation in the Global Classroom (Roultledge), English World-Wide, Journal of Multilingual and Multicultural Development, and Journal of Universal Language.
