Composition
Katherine Miscavige currently teaches Advanced Composition and, occasionally, a course on Arthurian literature. She earned a Ph.D. in medieval literature from Stony Brook University in 2016. Before coming to Mason, she worked in the teaching and learning center at the George Washington University providing professional development to faculty on issues surrounding teaching. She has taught courses in writing and literature at NYU, UMUC, Stony Brook University, and Farmingdale State College.
Her current research interests include rhetoric/composition, online teaching, faculty development, and medieval long narratives, especially Arthurian romances.
