Folklore: Appalachian music and folk art , migration, Cajun and Creole folklore, New Orleans music and folk art, Celtic migration and folklore, contemporary folk music and art, Northern Michigan folklore and folklife.

Olivia Deardoff is a graduate assistant and student in the Folklore Program, with an undergraduate education in Anthropology from Central Michigan University. Olivia's current research interests include Appalachian culture and folklife, migrations, Northern Michigan culture and folklife, and Cajun and Creole and South Louisiana culture and folklife.
