Rafaella Silva

Graduate Admissions Outreach Manager

Rafaella Silva is the Graduate Admissions Outreach Manager for the English department. She graduated from George Mason University with an MA in English: Cultural Studies in May 2024. In 2020, she graduated from Florida State University with a BA in English: Editing, Writing, and Media and a minor in education. Her research interests revolved around literature in the American South, fan studies, queer studies, horror films, and internet media culture.

Rafaella served as the English MA Representative for GMU's Graduate and Professional Student Association (GAPSA) for the 2022-2023 academic year. She currently serves as the co-chair for the CHSS Classified Staff & A/P Faculty Advisory Council.
