Veronica is a DMV native. Having lived in Prince George's County, MD most of her life, she is always happy to recommend places for site seeing and cultural enrichment in the DC Metro area. Veronica is a wife and the mother of two amazingly curious children who may occasionally accompany her on walks about the GMU campus. Her non-academic interests include baking, reading, and watching Doctor Who. Veronica's academic interests include, but are by no means limited to, composition pedagogy, digital rhetoric and literacy, multilingual learners, and minority student populations. She is particularly interested in the ways strategies for multilingual students can be adapted and applied to pedagogy for non-dominant English speakers.
